This is one of the best poker rooms in FL, second only to its sister Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Ft. Lauderdale. Hard Rock in Tampa has a dedicated poker area that has a good mix of action. They are open at all hours of the day unlike other FL poker rooms, so you can pretty much find action whenever you want it.
We find that it is best if you get there a little earlier in the evening, especially on the weekends, because the wait can get a little long if you wait too late. There are plenty of bad poker players there that can make it a quit lucrative room. The casino does offer other games such as baccarat, black jack, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Asia Poker, Let it ride and of course slots. The Florida Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos are the closest thing you will find to Vegas style action that will find in Florida.
